Top 5 Film & Television Apps on iOS in Poland Q4 2023

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five film and television apps on the iOS platform in Poland—Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, and CANAL+—exhibited interesting trends in their performance metrics.

Netflix experienced fluctuations in revenue, peaking at approximately $12.6K in the week of November 6 and dipping to around $8.6K in the week of December 18. Downloads showed significant growth towards the end of the quarter, reaching 27.4K in the week of December 25. Weekly active users also increased, peaking at about 507.7K in the same week.

Disney+ saw a notable revenue spike, hitting roughly $91K in the week of December 11. Downloads were highest in the final week of December, reaching 16K. However, weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting from 241K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at around 214.4K.

Amazon Prime Video maintained a relatively stable revenue, with a peak of around $10.4K in early November. Downloads surged in the last week of December to approximately 15.3K. The number of weekly active users increased gradually, peaking at 17.8K in the week of December 25.

HBO Max reported a peak revenue of $37.1K in the week of October 30. Downloads rose sharply towards the end of the quarter, reaching 12.1K in the final week of December. Weekly active users grew steadily, peaking at approximately 90.2K in the last week of December.

CANAL+ had modest revenue figures throughout the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 5.1K in the first week of October and ending the quarter at around 4.3K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a slight peak of 22.2K in late October.
